“No Stop” is a performance art project conducted in Beijing. During the project, I dashed through the technological heart of Beijing under the cover of night, casting the pulsating image of a traffic sign—a black "STOP" encircled and crossed out in red—upon the facades of corporate titans like ByteDance, Alibaba, and Microsoft. The "STOP" symbol raced across these structures, the red circle a cursed dance shoe of desire, unstoppable even as security gave chase. This exhilarating defiance echoes the traffic sign "No U-Turn" mounted on the National Art Museum of China in 1989, not as an explicit reference but as a shared method of utilizing public space to comment on social realities.
